Rain (Saturday) will occasionally rain, from the north of the country to the northern Negev, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms. In the morning, the rains are expected to intensify. There is a fear of flooding in the eastern and southern rivers, and in Hermon there may be snow.
Tomorrow it will rain for episodes in the north and in the center, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms. The winds will get stronger and snow will fall in Hermon. Temperatures will be lower than normal. On Monday, it will rain locally, mainly in the north and in the center. In the north, there may be single thunderstorms, and in Hermon it will continue to snow. There is a slight fear of flooding in the Jordan Valley, the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea. Temperatures will be lower than normal.

On Tuesday, local rains, mostly light ones, will fall in most areas of the country. Cooling will occur and it will be colder than usual. In Hermon it may even be light snow.
About 50,000 hikers came out into the weekend to watch the streams of the nature reserves and national parks. In addition, some 13,000 visitors came to the baptism site to note the epiphany ceremonies. Notable sites include: Banias with 2000 visitors, Caesarea with 2400 visitors and Qumran with 2300 visitors.
