According to a preliminary investigation by the police, this is probably a murder and suicide, and it may be against the background of Yitzhakbeev's desire to end the relationship between the two for the past two years.
The two were unknown to police. Meshev was a security guard at an educational institution and held a gun, he was shot once, while Yitzhakbeev was shot several times in her upper body. According to one neighbor, whoever found the two was her son.

In a video posted by Bashev to his Facebook page in September, a woman is seen greeting the couple at their home. "Not only is there love in this house, but also lots of cooperation and good energy," she said. "You always have good energy in this house, lots of success, plenty, blessings, and every morning you wake up with a smile, treat each other like it's your first love."
