12 people were killed and dozens injured in a traffic accident in the border town of Sotil, in north-eastern Algeria.
The Algerian newspaper, An-Nahar, quoted local rescue agencies as saying that a collision occurred this morning between two buses to transport passengers in the border town of Slate between the provinces of Biskra and the valley. So far, 12 deaths and 46 injuries have been recorded.
She pointed out that there is a danger of the high death toll due to the presence of a number of critical cases among the injured.
