Anti-revision storms caused conflicts. In November and September of last year, the 21-year-old HKUST student Zhou Zile fell to his death and a 15-year-old female student Chen Yanlin's floating body caused many speculations. Since then, citizens have repeatedly started mourning activities. By the beginning of this month, outside of the fallen Tseung Kwan O Sunde parking lot, Zhou Zile set up an "altar" to mourn the two.

At 3 am today (21st), it is reported that nearly half of the riot police went to the Sunde parking lot to clear the "Altar". During this period, a truck was on the scene to assist in the removal, and the riot police were on the road alert. At about 4 am, the "Altars" were all torn down and the police officers took off and left. As seen at the scene, the original "altar" full of bricks, candles, and souvenirs was ruined, and the "post photos" of the two people had also disappeared, leaving only post-it notes on the wall that could not be removed.

Sources said that Zhou Zile ’s father ’s handwritten letter was also taken away. Some citizens were dissatisfied after learning about the police action. They later arrived at the scene and shouted slogans. Dozens of protesters blocked Tangming Street and Tang Jun with a nearby fence. At the crossroads of the street, throwing debris such as bricks and glass bottles out of the road, vehicles passing were blocked, some vehicles turned around, and some buses were stranded, failing to transfer to the bus terminal. At around 4:30, the demonstrators "flashed" and then left.
