The Ministry of Health issued special guidelines on Monday following the outbreak of a mysterious disease originating in China, which has so far taken the lives of three people in the country. 200 human cases of infection have so far been recorded in China, Japan, Thailand and South Korea, while it has not yet been clear how the disease is transmitted and how it can be cured.

According to Dr. Emilia Ennis, Director of the Department of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Health, "The Office is in contact with the World Health Organization, the US Center for Disease Control, the European Center for Disease Control to obtain an accurate status assessment, and our guidelines will be in accordance. In the meantime, we recommend that all travelers avoid contact with dead or living animals, and avoid staying in animal markets. We also recommend that they avoid close contact with people with respiratory illness and, of course, maintain hygiene. "

International development has heightened concern over the continued spread of the disease associated with the SARS family of viruses. Two cases of virus infection have been discovered in Beijing, and one in the southern state of Shenzhen. This is the first time patients in China who have not been located at the center of the outbreak have been found in Wuhan city center.

Municipal health services in Wuhan said 136 new virus-induced pneumonia was discovered in the city over the weekend, adding to the 62 known cases. The third victim of the illness died Saturday. In total, more than 200 people, most of them in China, have been infected with the respiratory virus. That's when hundreds of millions of Chinese nationals are expected to fly in and out of the country during the Chinese New Year holiday, which begins later this week.

Earlier, South Korea announced the first patient in its territory - a 35-year-old Chinese woman traveling to the country from Wahan. This is the fourth case reported so far outside China, after Japan and Thailand. Everyone was from Wahan or visited her recently.
