According to Dr. Emilia Ennis, Director of the Department of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Health, "The Office is in contact with the World Health Organization, the US Center for Disease Control, the European Center for Disease Control to obtain an accurate status assessment, and our guidelines will be in accordance. In the meantime, we recommend that all travelers avoid contact with dead or living animals, and avoid staying in animal markets. We also recommend that they avoid close contact with people with respiratory illness and, of course, maintain hygiene. "
International development has heightened concern over the continued spread of the disease associated with the SARS family of viruses. Two cases of virus infection have been discovered in Beijing, and one in the southern state of Shenzhen. This is the first time patients in China who have not been located at the center of the outbreak have been found in Wuhan city center.
