The Algerian Ministry of Defense announced today the arrest of eight terrorists in the states of Tissemsilt, Boumerdes and the Valley in the north of the country.
A statement issued by the ministry said, according to the Algerian News Agency (Waj), that the National People's Army detachments arrested eight support elements for terrorist groups in Tissemsilt, noting that the operation came within the framework of combating terrorism.
The statement added: "During the operation, the security forces destroyed three terrorist hideouts and traditionally made bombs."
The Algerian Ministry of Defense announced yesterday the arrest of two terrorists in Boumerdes and Tebessa, in the north and east of Algeria.
