A number of owners of shops and commercial activities in the markets of the cities of Hassakeh and Qamishli confirmed to the SANA correspondent that they participated in the campaign to support the Syrian pound on their way and in a way that reflects their sense of national responsibility that all honorable sons of Syria have to face the economic war on their country.

Mohamed Amoura called the owner of an oven in the city of Hasaka to join the campaign so that the whole world knows that the Syrian people are one and that it supports their national currency in the face of the siege and unilateral economic measures imposed on the Syrians.

The merchant, Murshid Al-Sultan, who owns a group of food stores, indicated that he participated in the campaign to express his support for the Syrian pound and refused to deal with others.

The young Abdul Rahman Tariq said: “What we are seeing in the city’s markets is clear evidence of belonging. There is nothing forcing the owners of events to initiate anything other than their desire to support and support the national currency in facing the economic war facing Syria.”

The young Omar Al-Hamdoush emphasized that the campaign represents a form of social solidarity for the steadfast Syrian people, who are able to cooperate to bypass the forced economic measures imposed on them, calling for launching similar initiatives in all service sectors.

A number of families indicated that the campaign represents an initiative by the sons of Syria to express support for the national currency and support the idea of ​​initiatives that support the national economy, whatever their forms.
