The global candy company MARS this week celebrated its 90th birthday with one of its flagship products, the popular Snickers Snack. In honor of the festive occasion, the company held a special event featuring the world's largest sneakers snack, weighing no less than 41,000 regular sneakers.
About 600 of the company's sneakers were prepared. It weighs about 2132 pounds, of which 1587 are chocolate, and the rest are caramel and other toppings. The Guinness Book of Records was also invited to the festive event, did their tests and in principle confirmed the record, but it cannot be officially approved as their laws require that the candy be eaten up to date. This mission does not appear to have any difficulty finding volunteers, so formal recognition of the peak is a matter of time.
Apparently, with size, appetite has come, too, and Mars people declare that the giant snack is just the beginning. However, they did not elaborate beyond that, so ours was left to guess what size it was and how much space it would occupy. What is certain, it will still remain delicious.
