Patrick Balkany has been hospitalized since Monday. His wife and assistant Isabelle made it known on Twitter while the mayor of Levallois-Perret was unable to attend his release hearing this Tuesday afternoon. One week after leaving Pitié-Salpétrière, the Hauts-de-Seine councilor was again transferred to Cochin hospital for examinations.

He has been incarcerated since September 13 at the remand center of Health after being sentenced to a four-year prison sentence for tax fraud, to which is added a five-year sentence for laundering tax fraud.
The mayor of Levallois-Perret also requested, through his lawyer, an adjustment of his judicial control in the context of the tax fraud component.
