(CNN) - Prince Henry arrived in Canada to meet with Meghan and her son Archie after the couple finalized the terms of their separation from the official duties of the British royal family.
The photos in the UK media showed Enrique leaving a plane early Tuesday morning on Vancouver Island, where the family spent time at Christmas.
The Duke of Sussex attended the United Kingdom-Africa Investment Summit in London on Monday, where he met with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson before crossing the Atlantic.
A royalty spokesman told CNN that they would not comment on the family's private calendar.

Strong connection with Canada
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent Christmas holidays in Canada with the Duchess's mother, Doria Ragland.
Meghan lived in the country for seven years and the couple says they have a "strong connection with Canada."
The Sussex are ready to embark on a new life in that country, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said last week that discussions are underway about who will pay for his security costs.
The departure of the prince of the United Kingdom follows a turbulent period in which Enrique and Meghan agreed to renounce their royal titles and finish their official duties.
The couple made the surprising announcement that they were going to abandon their royal duties on Instagram on January 8, and the queen announced on Saturday that a transition period had been agreed.
Conversations with the couple had been going on for months, the monarch said in a statement.
"I am pleased that together we have found a constructive and supportive path for my grandson and his family," the statement said.
Under the terms of the agreement, Enrqiue and Meghan will no longer represent the queen as working members of the royal family, dividing their time between the United Kingdom and North America as they work to become financially independent.

The discussion about the titles
The couple will no longer use their royal titles - their royal highness - from the second half of this year, and Buckingham Palace announced on Saturday that instead they would be approached as "Henry, Duke of Sussex" and "Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. "
It is a measure that the queen was not expected to do and it is unprecedented for a monarch to ask his own grandson to withdraw his title, but given the possibility of the Sussex signing trade agreements in the future, the need to separate their companies of the royal house made it necessary.

On Sunday, Enrique expressed "great sadness" for the events at a charity event in London.
"Our hope was to continue serving the queen, the community and my military associations, but without public funds," he said in a speech. "Unfortunately, that was not possible."

“The United Kingdom is my home and a place that I love,” said Enrique. "That will never change".
“It was so many months of conversations after so many years of challenges. And I know that I have not always done well, but in regards to this, there really was no other option. ”
