The National Public Transport Authority and public transport operators, in conjunction with a transport master plan and the Israeli police, are preparing to visit delegates from around the world on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz camp. During the visit, several streets will be closed to the city and public transport will be added to parallel streets.

King David Street will be closed during all visiting days, from January 22 to January 24. Public transport lines will be transferred to Keren Hayesod Street. In the public transport system, the public is asked to be patient and to keep abreast of changes in the information centers, by telephone * 8787, as well as the websites of public transport operators.

The National Public Transport Authority states that they are working with all parties to ensure that public transport continues to operate as regularly as possible during the leaders' visit. The routes may vary according to the police directive.
