Some netizens initiated the "Dawn Operation" on November 11, last year, launched three strikes in Hong Kong and blocked roads in various districts, which caused traffic to be blocked on that day. Among them, the Jieling Roundabout in Sheung Shui was regarded as one of the hotspots for road congestion. Police officers arrived early on the day to alert them and intercepted a 29-year-old male elementary school teacher who passed by on the grounds that the speed was too slow. During this period, a teacher and police officer were suspected of conflict, and the teacher was charged with assaulting the police. The case was pleaded at the Fanling Court today, and the teacher denied assaulting the police; the case was postponed and trial began on April 14, during which the defendant continued to be released on bail.

The defendant, Yang Bowen (29), is known to teach physical education. He was charged with one count of assaulting a police officer and accused him of assaulting Police Officer X who was performing his duties on November 11, at Guanguanpu Road roundabout in Sheung Shui.

The defendant denied the charge, and the case is scheduled to begin on April 14. At that time, the trial will be conducted by Chief Su Wenlong and the referee; the prosecution stated that five police officers would be sent to court to testify. The defence also revealed that the defendant had been violently treated by police officers and had applied for a medical report from the Hospital Authority. The trial will also be brought to court. During the deferred period, the defendant was allowed to continue to guarantee going out.
