A meeting was held in the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment today to discuss the appropriate mechanisms to implement the decision of the Council of Ministers to compel public authorities legally authorized to keep records of ownership of real estate and vehicles of all kinds and book fairly not to document sales contracts or agencies involved in a completed and incomplete sale before attaching what feels the payment of the price or part of it In the bank account of the owner, his public or private successor, or whoever legally represents him.
The meeting discussed the mechanisms of implementing this decision in the public authorities entrusted with its implementation and ways to simplify the procedures in order to achieve the goal behind its issuance and that is the horizontal spread in opening bank accounts and expanding the base to be a basis for establishing the electronic payment rules to be implemented in the next stage.
Participants at the meeting, including the ministers of local administration, environment, transportation, public works and housing, the governor of the Central Bank of Syria, the director general of the General Housing Corporation, the general manager of the real estate bank and the executive head of the Syria International Islamic Bank, the director of real estate legislation in the General Directorate of Real Estate Department and a number of ministerial assistants and specialists, fully prepared their bodies in the application Decision and work to overcome difficulties and provide what can be provided to simplify the procedures for opening bank accounts and document transactions easily and conveniently.
The meeting recommended that transportation means such as planes, marine ships and motorcycles be included in the executive instructions, according to the fact that the term general vehicles includes all vehicles, whether they are land, sea or air.
