A number of economic and social activities in Aleppo saw that the economic war and unjust coercive measures imposed on Syria and the so-called “Caesar’s Law” need cohesion between all and patience to be able to confront them and overcome them with the least possible losses.
In a statement to the SANA reporter, Dr. Abdel Nasser Hamidan, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Aleppo, called for finding an appropriate mechanism to distribute support to those who deserve it and achieve partnership between the public and private sectors, attract graduates and scientific competencies and employ their capabilities in the process of building and construction and to confront the economic war.
Dr. Abdullah Bilal from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Aleppo stressed the importance of relying on human resources and activating them, returning the suspended companies to work, producing goods that meet the needs of society, activating medium and small projects, granting bank loans with easy procedures, and verifying the investment of these funds in the right place.
Majd Al-Din Dabbagh, head of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, said that economic activities work to confront the economic blockade that Syria is being subjected to and break it by the available methods and means to secure the flow of goods to the commercial markets and fully secure the needs of citizens.
Osama Khoja, member of the board of directors of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, said that the economic blockade to which Syria is exposed requires citizen cooperation with the emergency solutions provided by the government to overcome the crisis we are experiencing.
George Bakhash, Secretary of the Aleppo Governorate Council, explained that facing the economic war on Syria passes within an integrated cycle from the wholesaler to the retailer and then the citizen, pointing to the need for this equation to be with one level, citing the campaigns that are organized by merchants to reduce prices under the title of our honor and the contribution of the shops. Commercial in them.
Lawyer Murhaf Razouk called to prevent smuggling and combat smuggled goods that are harmful to the national economy, stressing the need not to trade except in Syrian pounds, with reference to corrupt and manipulative prices and exchange rate.
Eng. Hazem Ghazal pointed out the need for citizens to have awareness and culture to collaborate with the government in the face of the blockade and economic warfare, and to provide the required quantities of fuel, for example, not to waste and provide import, in addition to encouraging industry and replacing imports with the local industry.
