(CNN) - Prince Enrique's plans for a "more peaceful life" outside the royal spotlight have already been in doubt when he met his wife, Meghan, and his son, Archie, in Canada on Tuesday in the middle of a new dispute with the paparazzi.
The publication of photographs showing the Duchess of Sussex walking with baby Archie and her dogs in the Canadian forest sparked a warning from the couple's lawyers to the media about images without consent, a real source confirmed.

The images were used in various media, including on the cover of the British sensationalist newspaper The Sun.
Enrique has had an awkward relationship with the press since his childhood; Raised in the glow of publicity, the young prince saw his mother, Princess Diana, fight the paparazzi. Diana died after a high-speed chase of her car in Paris by photographers.
Last year, Enrique accepted “substantial damage” and an apology from a photography agency that used a helicopter to take pictures of the house he shared with Meghan, forcing the couple to move.

The last confrontation comes a few days after the couple finalized the terms of their separation from the official duties of the British royal family, a measure designed to allow them a life further from the public's view.
A royalty spokesman told CNN that they would not comment on the family's private schedule.
Strong connection with Canada
Photos in the UK media show Enrique leaving a plane early Tuesday morning on Vancouver Island, where the family spent a Christmas vacation with the Duchess's mother, Doria Ragland.
Meghan lived in the country for seven years and the couple says they have a "strong connection with Canada."
The Sussex are ready to embark on a new life in the country, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said last week that discussions are underway about who will pay the costs of his security details.
The departure of the prince of the United Kingdom follows a turbulent period in which Enrique and Meghan agreed to renounce their royal titles and finish their official duties.

The couple made the surprising announcement that they were going to abandon their royal duties on Instagram on January 8, and the queen announced on Saturday that a transition period had been agreed.
Conversations with the couple had been going on for months, the monarch said in a statement.
"I am pleased that together we have found a constructive and supportive path for my grandson and his family," the statement said.
Under the terms of the agreement, Enrique and Meghan will no longer represent the queen as royals in duties, dividing their time between the United Kingdom and North America as they work to become financially independent.
