The two are set against the backdrop of rising tensions between Western countries in general and France in particular vis-à-vis Iran, due to disagreements over the nuclear agreement. Iranian Foreign Minister Muhammad Jawad Zarif threatened on Tuesday that his country would withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty if European countries put pressure on the Tehran regime over the nuclear issue.
