The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed an indictment for the dead easily against the driver who caused the death of Tzipi Rimmel and her daughter Noam in the 443 road accident two months ago. The driver, Tariq Kurd, a 19-year-old resident of East Jerusalem, was charged with two misdemeanor manslaughter offenses, two felony counts of felony manslaughter, injury and a speeding felony.

In the accident, father Ephraim and son with me were also injured while on their way from Jerusalem to their home in Neve Tzuf. Ephraim has recovered and is in rehabilitation and I am still in serious condition at Shaare Zedek Hospital in the city. In addition to Itai and his father Ephraim, four more people were injured in the accident, including a young 18-year-old who was moderately to seriously injured. The suspected driver of the vehicle crashed into the family's vehicle was speeding. As a result of the accident, three other vehicles that stood at the intersection were injured.

Raziel Gantz, Tzipi's brother said before this morning's hearing that "Tzipi can no longer be reimbursed, not even Noam Rachel, like the health of Ephraim and me. We are here for the people of Israel, to make the war for the people of Israel that such things will never happen again. More people will be hurt and injured. There is no punishment that would suffice for such a case. Let's hope the court does the worst to deter others. "
