The outbreak of a new coronavirus commonly known as "Wuhan pneumonia" has spread, and at least two confirmed cases have been temporarily recorded in Hong Kong. A number of political parties today (23) launched a petition outside the high-speed rail station, asking the government to close the West Kowloon Station of the high-speed rail and strengthen defense measures as soon as possible.

Among them, the New Democratic League launched a protest at 4.30 pm, when more than 30 people in black supported the scene. However, less than half an hour after the event, dozens of riot police rushed by the high-speed rail station and intercepted more than 10 people in black shirts, including Yau Tsim Mong District Councillor Chen Ziwei.

Dozens of riot police rushed from West Kowloon Station to outside Austin Station at 5.30 pm and intercepted more than 10 people in black who were standing in line at the bus stop. The police then set up a blockade line, asking the men in black to remove their masks, and searched, interrogated and registered information from them, and then released them one by one.

Chen Ziwei, who was also intercepted, said that he was wearing black at the time, so he believed he was intercepted because he believed that the attitude of the police was better than expected. Chen Ziwei also said that the police did not explain why he was stopped.

The shift also requires that those who have stayed in Wuhan in the past two weeks should be quarantined on the 14th.
