CCTV News reported on Friday (24th) that as of midnight on Thursday (23rd), 4 new cases of pneumonia confirmed by new-type coronavirus infection had been added in Beijing. All the patients were male and all had contact history in Hubei.

Four male patients were diagnosed after being tested by the CDC and evaluated by an expert group, and all of them were sent to designated medical institutions for treatment. There are currently 26 confirmed cases in Beijing, including 3 in Xicheng District, 3 in Chaoyang District, 3 in Haidian District, 2 in Fengtai District, 1 in Shijingshan District, 2 in Tongzhou District, 1 in Shunyi District, and 2 in Daxing District. There are 2 cases in Changping District and 7 cases in Changping District.

At the same time, the Beijing Palace Museum issued an announcement announcing that according to the needs of the new coronavirus-infected pneumonia epidemic prevention and control work, in order to avoid cross-infection caused by the gathering of people, it was decided to close the museum from Saturday (25th) and resume the opening time.
