The first confirmed new type of coronavirus pneumonia in Hong Kong was a 39-year-old male male passenger from Wuhan. The second patient diagnosed was a 56-year-old Hong Kong person who had visited Wuhan on the 10th of this month, and took the Air China flight CA8279 from Wuhan to Shenzhen on the 19th, and took the MTR back to Hong Kong via Luohu Port on the same day. The patient began to have fever since the 18th, but had no symptoms of respiratory tract infection. The next day he went to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Prince of Wales Hospital for medical treatment. He did not need to be admitted to the hospital and returned to Tianyuhai Residence in Ma'anshan. He went to the emergency room of the hospital for a follow-up consultation on the 21st. Due to the continued symptoms of fever, the hospital arranged for the patient to be admitted to the Victoria Hospital for isolation treatment. He was transferred to the Infectious Disease Center of Princess Margaret Hospital for isolation treatment last night.
