A year ago since a new political leadership in the opposition raised three concrete steps for a change in the critical situation in Venezuela: "the cessation of usurpation, the transitional government and free elections," according to the words of Juan Guaidó. After months of intense political activity, Guaidó is credited with the recognition of more than 50 countries as president in charge and resuscitate the massive protests against the regime of Nicolás Maduro for months. But the frustrated campaign to introduce humanitarian aid across borders; a civic-military uprising that did not prosper; and having been stripped of the headquarters of the Legislative Palace, they have been interpreted by the ruling class that accompanies Chavism to decree as "a failure" the management of Guaidó. Among Venezuelans, some admit to having lost confidence in Guaidó and it remains to be seen what they will answer and the opposition bloc that leads the call for elections for this 2020.
