Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, affirmed the strong relations between Syria and India in various fields.
In turn, the Indian ambassador affirmed the depth of relations that bind the two friendly countries in various political, economic, cultural, scientific and humanitarian fields, pointing to India's side with Syria in its war on terrorism and providing support to the Syrian people.
To that, al-Miqdad listened to a meta-explanation on the progress made in implementing the project of installing prostheses in Syria for those who lost limbs who were victims of the terrorist war on Syria.
The two sides discussed ways to expand the scope of this humanitarian project to include all the Syrian provinces and to qualify the Syrian cadres working in this field through specialized courses in India.
Meta also explained the activities undertaken by his institution in the manufacture of artificial limbs inside and outside India, indicating that the complex will provide grants to Syria to train a number of specialists on the way to manufacture these limbs.
The meeting was attended by Ayman Raad, Director of the Asia Department, and Osama Ali, Director of the Office of the Deputy Minister.
