Armed groups control regions in Colombia and Venezuela

In a report, the Humans Right Watch group said there are armed groups that control the lives of people in the department of Arauca in Colombia, as well as in the state of Apure in Venezuela. The executive director of the organization for the Americas José Miguel Vivanco pointed primarily to the National Liberation Army and the National Liberation Patriotic Forces and said that these armed groups have the capacity to impose their law and rules of conduct.
