A red color alarm was sounded in the Nir Am area, in the Gaza Strip. Initial investigation revealed that one rocket was launched from Gaza toward Israel, and landed in open territory. Because the Iron Dome systems detected that the rocket would fall in open space - no interception was made. There were no injuries and no damage.
The rocket was launched just at the time of the live press conference with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Vice President Mike Pence.
