Fast food maker Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has apologized to its customers in Australia, after a local women's organization called Collective Shout severely attacked a short advertisement by the company posted on TV, YouTube and social networks.

In the advert itself, which is only 15 seconds long, a young woman looks at her appearance on a car window to look as attractive as possible. But as she examines and approaches her car window, the window drops surprisingly and two adolescents appear inside the car with their mouths open in astonishment and shyness.

Alongside the two adolescents, she looks at her mother's scornful and irritable gaze, which also glances at the young woman's chest for a second, out of comparison and envy. The young woman breaks the embarrassed silence by offering both boys to go out to eat at the KFC restaurant.

Of course, the storm on the advertisement was not overdue and the Collective Shout organization attacked the woman's obscene meaning and the importance of the sexual appearance expressed in the advertisement.

"It's about addressing old stereotypes that a young woman's body is his job to seduce a man. There is a return to a time when men were seen as enthusiastically responding to a woman's body and unable to resist these temptations, and all they want to do is continue to attract beautiful women. The attitude and behavior are detrimental to young women and women, "organization spokeswoman Melinda Lisbski said.

In response, KFC issued a broad apology for the advertisement, stating that "the company apologizes if anyone is harmed by it. We have no intention of harassing women or producing negative stereotypes about women or men."

However, the company did not specify whether to remove the advertisement from the air.
