Former Lebanese President General Emile Lahoud affirmed that the nationalist ideology of the leadership, army and people of Syria is behind the victory over the terrorists and saboteurs who were sent to its soil from around the world.

Lahoud said, during a phone call to the freed prisoner Sidqi Al-Muqt to congratulate him on his liberation from the families, that this model of resistance for decades within families is the culture of the people of the occupied Syrian Arab Golan and the people of Syria that have been able to withstand the enemies, whether it is the external enemy or the gangs of terrorists, adding, “Here stands out The great national militant value of the Syrian leadership and the Syrian Arab Army in achieving victory over the terrorists and saboteurs who were sent to its soil from all over the world.

Lahoud showed that the resilience of the abject opponent in the cells of the Zionist enemy proves that the will of men who have the right to face falsehood is capable of making victories, noting the steadfastness of the people of the Syrian Arab Golan and their glorious struggle history.

For his part, Al-Muqt affirmed that he had always been following the major achievements on the Lebanese national level, in order to liberate the Lebanese lands from the clutches of the Zionist occupation, explaining that that day was a motive and incentive for more steadfastness and confrontation with the enemy.

Al-Muqtat expressed his appreciation to Lahoud for his congratulations on the liberation from the families, stressing the follow-up of the struggle against the Zionist enemy and the return of the Golan to the bosom of the homeland.
