Speaker of the People's Assembly Hamouda Sabbagh, during his meeting today with Iranian Minister of Education Mohsen Haji Mirzai and the accompanying delegation, stressed the importance of strengthening Syrian-Iranian relations in various fields, describing them as historical, rooted, prosperous and constantly evolving.
The President of the Council expressed his hope to reach various forms of joint work between Syria and Iran to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples in both countries.
For his part, the Iranian Minister of Education stressed that the meetings and mutual visits between Iran and Syria express the deep relations between the two countries, the government and the people, which represent a model to be followed, noting that his visit to Syria comes from the strategic approach of his country based on supporting and supporting its friends, especially Syria.
The meeting was attended by a number of members of the People's Assembly and the Iranian ambassador in Damascus, Javad Turk Abadi.
In a statement to reporters, Minister Merzai indicated that the field of education is the most sustainable, established and deep field of cooperation and has an active and influential role in strengthening Iranian-Syrian relations.
