The government economic team with the industrialists in the governorates set a work strategy to stimulate the industrial sector with all its components during the next stage and to enhance communication and integration between the relevant government institutions and the Federation of Chambers of Industry and Industrialists so that this sector can exercise its role in economic development.

During the meeting, headed by Eng. Imad Khamis, the Prime Minister, it was decided to prepare an industrial map in each governorate, describe the reality of damaged and stalled facilities, return them to work and production, encourage and stimulate export industries, and implement a program to replace local products instead of imported in order to achieve the principle of self-reliance and enhance citizen resilience in the face of the economic blockade.

During the meeting, a "operations room" was formed from the concerned government agencies and the Federation of Chambers of Industry to contribute to combating contraband goods. A request was made from the Federation of Chambers of Industry to make a description of the reality of each industrial sector separately and to submit the necessary proposals to activate it and secure its requirements.

It was decided to restructure the boards of directors of industry chambers with regard to representatives of government agencies in the chambers in order to facilitate the delivery of industrialists problems to government institutions and it was emphasized that the priority for industrial and crafts areas in the distribution of electrical energy for the purpose of production.

Engineer Khamis stressed the importance of continuous meetings with the industrial private sector to involve him in taking decisions related to restarting the damaged facilities and establishing the principle of self-reliance and finding obstacles and proposals to overcome them in accordance with the ongoing changes imposed by war and unfair economic sanctions against the Syrian people, explaining that the government is open to granting loans to industrialists The allocation of 20 billion pounds to support the benefits of loans for the purpose of actual production.
