(CNN) - The Seattle Fire Department says a nine-year-old boy is one of the victims in a downtown Wednesday night shooting near the intersection of 4th Avenue and Pine Street.
Public information officer David Body told CNN that the child is in serious condition. Body says a 55-year-old woman is in critical condition, while three adult men are stable.
Police chief Carmen Best says that one person died in the shooting. The age of that victim has not been disclosed, and the attacker is still on the run.
A spokeswoman for the Harborview Medical Center says her emergency room is treating seven people after the shooting.
