On his way back from Switzerland, the president "bombed" Twitter • At one point, he tweeted every 88 seconds • Among the tweets: praise to himself, to the Chinese president, and 4 deleted posts

United States President Donald Trump today broke the record and retweeted Twitter and social networking Twitter with no less than 142 different online publications.

The president flooded his Twitter page the other day for discussions about his ouster in the Senate with no less than 41 different posts between 12 and 1 p.m. The pace, the Politico news website claimed, was on the post every 88 seconds. The president deleted four Tweets but the previous record, which was 123 Tweets, was broken.

As the Senate debates began, the president chose to tweet about the new trade agreement with China and chose to praise Chinese President Xi Jinping as calling him "a man who really loves his country."

The president also tweeted about his recent visit to Davos, Switzerland, to attend the World Economic Forum, which he described as "very successful."

In some of those tweets, Trump casually referred to the impeachment debates and in one of the tweets chose to point out that there was "no pressure," during the opening remarks given by Senator Adam Schiff.

Trump also shared tweets from Republican congressmen, some quoting or commenting. One tweet read: "Ukraine got their money and got it early, read the transcripts," referring to the accusation that Trump conditioned the transfer of aid to Ukraine during a trial against Senator Biden's son.
