Yaffe Issachar, mother of Naama imprisoned in Russia, this morning (Thursday) made reference to the progress between Israel and Russia on Naama's release, in the wake of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Israel to mark the 75th anniversary of the Auschwitz death camp.

Yesterday, a Kremlin official said that Russian President Vladimir Putin, who landed in Israel this morning in honor of the leaders' conference, will today meet with Yaffe Issachar, the mother of Naama imprisoned in Russia for holding nine grams of cannabis.
