The female defendant, Wang Yunyu (age 23, underwear designer), admitted on October 13 last year that he had three petrol bombs in a public place near Yuntoujiao Resting Area in Yuntoufang, Dapu.

Instant response helps people take away petrol bombs

The defence pleaded that the defendant was concerned about society and wanted to express his views to the government. She had planned to pass materials and other things that day, and did not intend to hurt others, but just helped others take away petrol bombs because of an immediate response. I was told that the items taken away were flammable, but the exact substance was unknown.

The defence filed a number of courtship letters, saying that her relatives, friends, employees, etc. were very supportive of the defendant, and most of them agreed that she did something wrong, violated the law, and had to bear the consequences. The defendant also stated in the courtship letter that during the restitution, he deeply reflected, regretted, and thanked his relatives and friends for their unconditional love.

Knowing to take it away

When the convict was sentenced, the officer stated that she was satisfied that the defendant had no intention of throwing petrol bombs, but stated that she knew that petrol bombs could endanger her life and chose to help take them away, so she was sentenced to imprisonment immediately. He also said that, fortunately, the petrol bombs were not used and no one was injured, otherwise the case would be referred to a higher court.

Su Guan started with a 21-month sentence and the defendant pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one-third of his sentence. As the defendant was a first offender, the Soviet officer commuted his sentence by one month.

Won 6 scholarships

Su Guan continued, the defendant graduated with first class honors, and received 6 scholarships during college, showing the talent of fashion design. He described the defendant's employment with a reputable fashion company as soon as he graduated. However, the defendant's future job search and work abroad will be affected by the case. The Soviet officer considered the above matters, deducted an additional one month's sentence, and finally sentenced to one year's imprisonment.

About 80 people attended the court to support the defendant. Due to limited seats, some people had to stand and watch. The crowds waited for the prison car to drive out of the court and raised a "five major demands, one indispensable" gesture to the defendant in the car.
