Mr. Tan, one of the sponsors of the silver-haired tribe rally, said that more than a hundred people have been returned due to anti-revision campaigns, and the one who has been returned the longest has been close to 4 months. He pointed out that a special rally was held on the evening of the 30th of the year, hoping that the arrested persons in the Lai Chi Kok reception would know that people outside would not give up on them.

Sham Shui Po District Councilman Wu Yuelan pointed out that she felt heartache when she saw the demonstrators injured and bleeding, and said that the most painful time was when she saw a young demonstrator leaving while being brutally subdued by a Mandarin-speaking police officer but unable to stop it. She also said that participating in the rally was to show the prisoners that they were not alone, and hoped that they would stay until they came out.

Wu Yuelan also pointed out that although the Democrats won the District Council election last year, the work of the future Parliament will be difficult because the Government will block the District Councils, but I believe Hong Kong people will not give in.
