The Hospital Authority announced that as of 12:00 noon today (24th), public hospitals have informed the Department of Health that in the past 24 hours, a total of 70 people (33 men and 37 women, aged from 7 months to 91 years) have been accepted. Patients with pneumonia (Severe New Infectious Pathogen Respiratory Disease) reporting criteria and send samples to the Department of Health for testing.

The Hospital Authority said that 96 people are currently in hospital for isolation and 91 people are in stable condition. Two patients from North District Hospital and Queen Mary Hospital are seriously ill because of their own illness, and three patients from North District Hospital are in critical condition due to their own illness.
