We all know the numbers of the emergency centers and certainly the digits 100, but many Israelis are also very familiar with the 110 - the national police information center aimed at reducing the 100 targeted loads. Of citizens trying to stretch the police, or situations where the urban centers should be addressed. In one case, a man called Hotline 110 and asked if he came to the pizzeria, in another case, a man said he was on a promenade in Nahariya and that "there is a cat there choking on the fish he ate." But the center also comes with calls from citizens telling of unusual cases.

Only recently did a United States tourist arrive who was locked in the trunk of a bus on his way to Jerusalem. The tourist was resourceful and called Hotline 110, which helped rescue him soon. This is how the conversation sounded:

Passenger: I'm on line 947. I arrived at the intersection and came to take my suitcase out of the trunk, with the doors closed and stayed inside the cabin. I need help, I'm scared
Focal: Where are you right now?
Traveler: I'm on my way to a root interchange, this is the next stop
Focal: Did you leave your suitcase on the bus?
Traveler: Yes, I went to take my suitcase under the bus and I was stuck in the trunk.
Focal: Stay with me, okay?
Traveler: Yes, thank you, the driver
Focal: I'm sending police now, okay? The bus number is 947?
Traveler: Yes, to Jerusalem. Thanks, I'm very scared
FOCUS: Don't worry, I'm sending police right now, do you need any medical help?
Traveler: No, I wasn't hurt

In another case, a call came from an amplifier stuck in a truck crate. He asked for the phone number of the police station in Kfar Kana, and the caller immediately realized that he was in distress and said: "You do not need the station, I immediately open an event." The alarmed man replied: "I can't breathe, it's urgent, please." Forces were dispatched and located in a truck crate inside the Reina market.

Not only strange cases and rescues, but emergencies are addressed at hotline 110. A few months ago, a civilian received a call asking for the Ashkelon police station phone, and the hotline lit a red light. This is how the conversation sounded:

Civil: Hello, I need the station telephone number in Ashkelon
Focal: Just a second, is everything okay?
Civil: Yes, I just help the company. She filed a complaint against her husband yesterday. He was given a restraining order, but he went into her home again and did not want to go out. He threatens her and the kids and she can't talk
Focal: Is he home now? So no station is needed, let's open an event
Civil: Oh, I didn't know. She's just afraid to call. He screams like crazy

Already during the call, the policemen shot at the address, who arrived at the scene and arrested the man. Fortunately, the event ended peacefully, mainly thanks to the company that communicated and the resourcefulness of the focal point.
