Real estate: buy new with your smartphone

2020-01-24T08:25:08.541Z

The start-up Unlatch has launched an application that allows you to buy and follow the construction of your apartment just using your phone.

The start-up Unlatch has just launched an application which allows completely the dematerialization of the sale of new apartments. "It has been available on the App Store and Android since January 2, and the promoter Quartus will be the first to use it," said Thomas Rivoire, co-founder of Unlatch.

The app allows the client to carry out and follow all the stages of the sale on their smartphone, from the signing of the reservation contract to the final delivery of the apartment. No more paper documents are required. “When you buy from Emerige or Quartus, explains Thomas Rivoire, the advisor prepares the reservation contract and the buyer signs with his finger. "

Signing can therefore be done remotely. "It is practical if one of the spouses cannot move," says the entrepreneur. Electronic registered mail also saves postal time and, in the event of an error, digital corrections can be integrated in real time. Only the signing of the deed of sale will require a physical presence at the notary.

Unlatch has 200 promoter clients in France

In total, "the delay can be reduced to a single day when it can take two months in normal times", assures Thomas Rivoire. Once the sale has been made, the app links the promoter to the buyer, whereas, once they have gone to the notary, “the customers have no news for two years from the promoter, except to ask them for money. 'money or to inform them of a delay in construction,' observes the co-founder of Unlatch.

“This application is a very interesting tool to accelerate sales, salutes the president of the federation of real estate developers, Alexandra François-Cuxac. As soon as we receive a document to sign, an alert intervenes on the application. This avoids dozens of phone calls and emails. The salesperson can manage the customer relationship faster and guarantee better satisfaction for buyers. "

Launched in April 2018, the start-up Unlatch currently has 200 promoter customers in France and 15,000 users. Based in Paris, the company employs 30 people.
