The Chinese virus has reached Europe: two infections have been detected in France
For the first time in Europe, France confirmed Friday night that two cases of Chinese virus infection were detected in Paris and Bordeaux. France's Health Minister Anise Bouzin said that in one case, a 48-year-old man who had returned two days ago from a trip to Wuhan, the site of the virus outbreak, was diagnosed with a patient. "He is in a secluded room so he avoids any contact with the outside world. He is fine," she explained.
Corona virus has so far taken up 26 victims and cases of infection worldwide are more than 800 and continue to rise. Earlier this evening, the United States announced a second case of the virus in its field - a woman in her 60s who returned from Wahan to Chicago, Illinois. Many countries around the world, including Israel, have begun preparing to deal with the virus, urging their citizens to avoid becoming the focus of the outbreak in Wuhan. The National Health Service of China recommends that tourists avoid a visit to Wuhan, urging residents not to leave, but it is doubtful whether this will stop the ongoing human-virus virus check.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Corona virus an emergency in China, but does not pose an international concern. A spokesman for the organization said more cases of virus infection are likely to rise in China and are too early to assess its severity. He said, "The focus is not on the number of cases, which we know will increase."

In the background of the New Year celebrations in China, the government has extended transport closure to several other cities as part of the virus-spreading measures. Means of transport in the cities of Chibi, Xiantu, Zhejiang, Qianjiang, Xianxing, Ouzhou, Huangxi people and several other cities in Hubei Province, in addition to Wuhan, were disabled. Parts of the Chinese wall and Beijing's Forbidden City complex, two of China's hallmarks, have also been closed to visitors for fear of the virus outbreak. According to the Chinese authorities, the curfew and transport restrictions are intended to "effectively disengage the transmission of the virus, thus preventing the spread of the epidemic and ensuring the health and safety of citizens."
