(CNN) - Beijing's famous tourist sites, including a section of the Great Wall of China, will be closed to visitors from Saturday for an indeterminate period of time, according to local officials.
The scenic area of the Great Wall of Juyonggang, the part of the wall closest to the capital of China, as well as the Ming Tombs and the Yinshan Pagoda Forest will be closed from tomorrow.

These measures are part of efforts to control the outbreak of coronavirus, which has also seen authorities impose indefinite travel restrictions on tens of millions of people in 10 cities in China.
