The Syrian pavilion witnessed a large turnout on the third day of the international tourism exhibition "Vitor", its 40th session, hosted by the Spanish capital, Madrid.

The Syrian pavilion was attended by representatives of the Spanish travel and tourism agencies and some interested in investing in Syria, especially in the tourism sector, as well as a large number of Spanish visitors.

Eng. Ghiath Al-Farah, assistant to the Minister of Tourism and head of the Syrian delegation, during his meeting with the Minister of Economy in the Government of the La Rioja region in the Spanish north, Celso Gonzalez pointed out that Syria's return to participating in international forums, especially tourism, is evidence of its recovery from terrorism and its presence today in Madrid represents a message that it started the process of developing its economy .

For his part, the Spanish minister expressed his welcome for all the initiatives put forward by the Syrian Ministry of Tourism and his desire to visit Syria accompanied by a team of businessmen and investors in addition to his invitation to the Syrian side to visit the region of La Rioja to know the latest findings in the field of tourism, promotion and tourism investment.
