[Wuhan Pneumonia. A doctor was sent to a ward in a non-negative pressure room

Chung Kin-li, Director of Hospital Authority: Experts contacted to assess risk

The Director of Quality and Safety of the Hospital Authority, Dr Chung Kin Lai, said that a call from the infection control officer of Tuen Mun Hospital was received this morning. As there are two negative-pressure wards in the Accident and Emergency Department, the hospital arranged for the patient to handle the trauma room in the third case. The patient stays for three to four hours. Experts have been contacted to assess the risks and whether the investigation will affect other patients. Zhong Jianli acknowledged that the incident may have an impact on employees or patients, and had notified the CHP to visit Tuen Mun Hospital to review the process and apologized to the public for the incident.
