The pneumonia epidemic in Wuhan continued to spread. CCTV News reported that Singapore Airlines Scoot Flight TR188 arrived at Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport from Singapore at about 10 pm on January 24, with 116 Wuhan passengers on board. Two passengers were sent to the hospital with fever, and the remaining passengers were isolated.
The report stated that the aircraft had 335 passengers, including 116 Wuhan. After the plane landed, the two feverish passengers were taken to the First People's Hospital of Xiaoshan District. The remaining Wuhan passengers were quarantined at the airport hotel. Another 219 passengers were concentrated in medical observation at the Party School of the CPC Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee.

Earlier reports said that Singapore refused to enter Wuhan. The Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority clarified that this was not true. Scoot responded to the Lianhe Zaobao inquiry and stated that 110 Wuhan people on flight TR188 were passengers who chose to fly to other destinations in Mainland China, Macau or Hong Kong, rather than repatriated tourists as referred to in the Internet.
All public transport services in Hubei Province, China are suspended, and Scoot cancelled flights between Singapore and Wuhan from January 23 to February 2. The airline allows affected passengers to choose to accept a full refund, or reschedule the flight to other destinations in Mainland China, Macau or Hong Kong operated by Scoot.
