China’s health authorities today announced that the number of confirmed cases of pneumonia caused by the new Coronavirus has risen to 1,287 nationwide, of which 237 are in critical condition, indicating 41 people have died from the disease.
Xinhua news agency quoted the National Health Commission of China as saying that 39 deaths from the Corona virus were recorded in central China's Hubei Province, one in the north Hebei Province and one in the northeastern Heilongjiang Province.
The commission noted that another 1965 suspected cases of the new Corona virus had been registered.
The National Health Committee of China announced in a previous outcome yesterday, recorded 830 cases of coronavirus and the death of 25 people as a result of the virus that appeared in the Wuhan area, Hubei Province, central China.
