An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 shook Puerto Rico this Saturday, January 25, according to preliminary reports from the United States Geological Survey.

(CNN Spanish) - An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 shook Puerto Rico this Saturday, January 25, according to preliminary reports from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The seismic focus was located 13 kilometers deep and the epicenter was located 16 kilometers south of Indios.

The telluric event occurred at 4:20 pm (local time) and was also recorded by the seismic network of Puerto Rico on his Twitter account:
