Proceeding from the important role of the school in influencing society as an essential pillar of the educational process, the Ministry of Education is working to enhance and develop the skills of school principals in order to activate their role to advance the educational and educational process in a way that reflects positively on society.

The ministry is implementing a unified training qualification plan at the level of Syria to raise the level and efficiency of administrative work and the educational process in schools, according to the director of educational preparation and training in the ministry, Jamil Al-Tawil, who explained in a statement to the delegate of Sana that the ministry has completed teacher training courses on the developed curricula and has been implementing since the beginning of the year training courses for school administrators To improve their work and enhance individual and group behavior in the community, so that the principal is an educational leader who can develop a strategic plan of work during the school year by activating human cadres in the school within the available capabilities and thus activating the role of the local community In the educational process.

The training program that is implemented during three years starting from this year, according to the long term, includes the training of school administrators and the next year is devoted to their assistants and 2022 for those whom the educational administration deems worthy of management in his province, pointing out that at each stage training administrators are carried out in three governorates, the first included Damascus, Aleppo, Hama and the second Lattakia, Tartous, and Homs, where the participants receive, during thirty hours, various information related to administration, plan and organizing records and undergo during the course a pre-test that includes 50 questions and a post-test that includes 100 questions. After that, performance is evaluated through committees specific to each governorate Participants information is stored electronically to benefit from them later.

And on the qualification mechanism between the lecturer in the course, Director of Basic Education in the Ministry of Education, Dr. Rami Al-Dali, we are working on preparing and qualifying school administrators and heads of departments in the governorates to raise the administrative level and transfer these experiences to become later field trainers for basic and secondary general and vocational education directors, pointing out that the course depends on The practical method in developing managerial skills to achieve better results.

On the tangible results of the participants in the course, Uday Muhammad, Head of Basic Education Department, stated that the course is one of the outcomes of the recently held educational development conference in Damascus, which recommended the development of the educational process as a future project that achieves social, cultural and economic balance for the community, noting the importance of this course in obtaining Integrated information about the internal systems of the departments and the mechanism of work in them flexibly and quickly.

Participant Marwan Al-Zoubi, head of the Preparation and Training Department in Homs Education, said that this experience reinforced the vision and planning of legal aspects, which will positively reflect on the educational and educational process and avoid gaps on the ground in a way that achieves the efficiency of a scientific process, while Muhammad Salman and Nous, head of the compulsory education division in Tartous Education, indicated that they obtained A lot of useful information in unifying the mechanism of work in school records in all governorates, as this information will be transferred to school secretaries and teachers.

The administrative supervisor in the course, Ali Al-Ali, demonstrated the importance of developing administrative work in educational and educational institutions and the necessity of establishing such meetings to exchange experiences and bring views closer to come out with a new, integrated and systematic vision.
