Today, the Ministry of Education conducted the automated written examination of the competition for fixing 15,000 proxy teachers, out of 16,934,000 applicants for this competition, including those with martyrs and those with a disability condition, to be appointed as a second-class teacher with a high school diploma or its equivalent.
The Ministry of Education indicated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that it took all necessary measures and preparations for the success of the competition and taking the exam as it agreed to transfer the place of the written written exam for applicants to the directorates of education in the governorates of Hasaka, Deir Al-Zour and Aleppo to the Directorate of Education in Damascus, while specifying the location of the exam for applicants for the benefit of the Directorate Raqqa education in the Directorate of Education in Hama.

On March 13, 2019, the Ministry announced that a competition would be held to select about 15,000 teachers according to the provisions of Law 38 of 1975, and Law 38 in its first article states that it is permissible, based on a nomination by selection committees formed by the Minister of Education for this purpose, to appoint the teachers who are appointed as teachers in Primary education, according to conditions, including that the teacher possesses a general secondary certificate or its equivalent and practiced the teaching profession in an agency in official primary schools intermittently or continuously for a period of not less than five hundred days and not be affiliated with one of the universities or high or intermediate institutes.
