The Lebanese authorities announced today that they have taken measures at Beirut International Airport to prevent corona virus.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Beirut International Airport Presidency as saying in a circular to the airlines and ground services operating at the airport that it is “in order to ensure the regularity of work and in view of the preventive measures taken by the Ministry of Public Health to prevent the transmission of Corona virus infection required of all airlines operating at the airport Which transports passengers from China, Thailand and others to Lebanon, filling out the form for all arrivals and submitting it to the airport quarantine department.
The spread of the new Corona virus has resulted in the death of 41 people and infected more than 1300 globally, while the spread of cases of the virus, which has caused panic within China and infiltrated outside its borders, is accelerating, with other countries around the world including the United States, Japan and Thailand registering a number of new infections at a time when they rushed to it. Many countries are taking precautionary measures by hoping to stave off the virus from their lands.
