Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro received Dr. Mohsen Bilal, member of the Central Command of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, in the Venezuelan capital Caracas on the sidelines of the "Global Forum Against Imperialism for Life, Sovereignty and Peace".
President Maduro affirmed his appreciation to Syria and its people, and to President Bashar al-Assad and his solidarity with it in the face of the terrorism it is exposed to, and that the Syrian people, who won their leadership and army against terrorism, deserve peace.
Dr. Bilal added that Syria stands in the first front line against the American occupation, which steals and plunderes its resources and attempts to plunge it and its people into chaos and darkness, and that Syria is steadfast in the steadfastness of its army and people and with the help and support of brotherhood and friends in the face of American hegemony and in the face of terrorism made by Washington.
At the end of the forum, President Maduro affirmed in a speech to him that the meeting aims to mobilize the energies of anti-imperialists and work jointly between countries to defend their peoples and their rights to live in peace, explaining that despite all the support provided by the United States to the opposition in Venezuela, it failed in its plans against it.
On the sidelines of his participation in the forum, Dr. Bilal met with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arias and discussed with him the situation in Venezuela and the war and aggression that he is exposed to by the United States of America and the countries that swim in her orbit in the region.
The Venezuelan minister stressed that Venezuela will not surrender while it is relentlessly resisting in this part of the world, as Syria is resisting with remarkable steadfastness and unrelenting determination with aggression and terrorism in the other part of the world, explaining that the one who created terrorism and its sponsors and financiers is the United States of America.
For his part, Dr. Bilal expressed Syria's full support and full solidarity with the Venezuelan leadership against its attempts to interfere in its affairs and sovereignty, stressing that Syria faces terrorism that was created by the United States under multiple names for more than nine years and is continuing to defeat terrorism until its elimination. .
The Syrian Ambassador in Caracas Khalil Al-Bitar and the Secretary of the Central Higher Education Office Maher Kurdi participated in the meetings.
