According to Palestinian reports, the group came from the Rachelim outpost and attacked the two farmers with stones, an iron rod and hands. The son was able to call for help through his phone, and when Palestinian residents arrived to help, the group tried to return to the outpost, while the father and son were taken to Rapidia Hospital.

At another event, Palestinians from Burin reported that around 2:20 p.m., five settlers arrived from the Givat Ronen outpost and entered the northeastern area of Burin, a Palestinian settlement near Nablus.
