The International Holocaust Forum event that this week, attended by dozens of heads of state and the extent and numbers that the state has not known since its inception, is a formative event, and it can and should be said without a trace of apology. Beyond the honorable ceremonies and important statements, one can learn something more from him - about Israel's place in the world.

For two days, she made her way to Ben-Gurion Airport, which had run under its wheels for decades of undeniable conventions that Israel's international situation would be dictated and determined solely on the basis of its willingness to transfer territory from Judea and Samaria to the Arabs. In no political process, the assertion claimed, would be global isolation. For decades, the message, which used to be left-wing only, also permeated the right-wing ranks, renaming the idea of a complete land of Israel. The fear of "what to say in the world" has threatened more and more parts of our politics.

But reality teaches otherwise. And it is not that, prior to the visit of the world leaders, there were no preconceived notions that the political process theory as a necessary condition of international status is declining. In recent years, Israel's status has grown in the world, while its relationship with its Arab neighbors in Judea and Samaria is only growing. For almost a decade, there has been no meeting between the Israeli prime minister and PA chairman Abbas. The only contacts between the parties are mainly about the remnants of the Oslo agreement on security and economic issues, when the political issue has completely disappeared.

And at the same time, more and more countries are looking to renew and strengthen their relationship with Israel. Embassies and delegations move to Jerusalem. Leaders who do not consider themselves subordinate to the old agendas of their predecessors have been chosen to head their countries - in the US, England, Brazil, and more - and have led a completely different line to Israel than we knew.

Willing time, not base time
However, while the world is changing, here in the country, some parties still find it difficult to internalize change and flow with it to new districts of diplomatic optimism. To the credit of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he is said to have understood the new spirits and this week spoke more vigorously than ever before about possible annexation of the Jordan Valley and even other Judea and Samaria settlements.

"All Inclusive!" Netanyahu said with pleasure at the launch of the campaign for the new Yesha Council Chairman, David Elhaini, who stood beside him on the stage. In rival parties, he quickly mocked the Prime Minister and claimed that if he had mattered to him in the Jordan Valley, he would have annexed it by ten years. Do it until now, wonder there.

They are right. Netanyahu did not annex and did not even think about annexing during his entire term. Not that either, he was firmly against annexation. One could argue that his strong desire to annex the hatch is now born as a result of the election campaign that we are all already in the midst of. But that would be a superficial claim. It has already been proven countless times that, even though it serves him politically, Netanyahu has not resorted to political and security adventures to better his situation, although his advisers have often pleaded with him to do so.

More likely, what has changed this time is not the bash, but the world will. Netanyahu, it seems, has made the huge changes on the international map and he wants to use them to determine facts on the ground.

Truth versus campaign needs
Perhaps it is hard to believe, but the Knesset and the political system still have party leaders and officials who believe that Israel's situation will improve if it agrees to negotiate with the Arabs on the transfer of territories at their disposal. Among other things, these are blue-and-white heads, which the subject of the annexation of the valley caught them this week with their pants down. While a handful of Tel Aviv members within the party, Yoaz Handel and Zvika Hauser, are enthusiastic supporters of the annexation, who are unwilling to conceal their position on the issue, the rest of the party, especially its leaders, oppose the move and fear its consequences.

In almost a year when blue and white existed, its leaders and campaigners put forth tremendous efforts to shake off the left-wing image they adhered to and cast content in the defunct "Center" setting, and here, at one glance, the mask was removed to reveal them fully in their nudes and opinions. In the elections where they have taken the right turn to take from the Likud, knowing that to the left is a united party that will take over the leftovers, Benny Gantz's scandalous and confused behavior may be critical.

To tell the truth is not always easy. Gantz against the annexation of the Jordan Valley. it's clear. But the demands of the campaign are to hide this simple truth, and what happened to him this week is the obvious result. After being embarrassed by the immunity peaks that allowed them to take over the agenda almost completely in recent weeks, an unplanned and unexpected issue suddenly landed on them, and the response to it seemed appropriate.

Now that Netanyahu has already tweeted that the blue-and-white test moment on the annexation of the Valley will soon be over, the duty of proof lies on the prime minister's shoulders. It will soon be known whether he bore the name of the most eastern country in vain in the name of the election campaign, or that the words are also backed by acts, important and politically and vitally important, for which there is no reason to delay them and to mobilize them.

In the right-wing party, they expressed satisfaction with the lifting campaign they raised and reached the top echelons, from the prime minister to the opposition chairman (de facto). This was one successful move for them, after last week's events, which left a bitter taste of disappointment and anger at the conduct of the party leaders who made up the list. United.

On the right, they are committing sin in all matters related to recent processes but expressing great satisfaction with the result. In their opinion, after the skirmishes and quarrels, lies and slime, the list that made good and good quality, with a strong female and eastern representation, with prominent names such as Naftali Bennett, Ayelet Shaked, Rabbi Rafi Peretz and Bezalel Smutrich, and a few other cards on the list that will soon be released: Sara BK and Shirley Pinto (who, if you enter the Knesset, will be the first deaf Knesset member).
