Internet giant MacGroup, which runs the Tinder and OKCupid dating widgets, has announced that it will invest in a business collaboration with the NoonLight developer developer of security extensions for surfers. In the first phase, NoonLight will launch a "distress button" on Tinder, which will allow the users of the dating network to call the rescue forces to them if they are on a dangerous date.

NoonLight's software extensions already allow American users on dating sites to choose a friend or company to send their time and date to, and put them on alert if something goes wrong. The new development should also use the location of the Tinder user, allowing him or her to press a "distress button" that will be connected to the US emergency phone (911), if a date they attend will go terribly wrong, for example - sex trafficking hidden under fake identities in the dating app.

"The new development will allow users who feel at risk to call for help discreetly if something goes wrong and he or she feels a sense of danger," said Mach Group.

Another development that will be incorporated into Tinder is verified images. With artificial intelligence, the software will compare images uploaded to Tinder with a verified user profile image on social networks and the like. Images to be verified will receive a blue "verified image" stamp. This development aims to minimize the use of a false or stolen identity on the dating network. However, it can also make it more difficult for users and users who have posted a "flattering" image - a decade ago - on their profile picture.
